Equipment and expertise: All maintenance work in the area of freight brakes is carried out by specially trained specialists. Our certified partner company has extensive experience in the repair of brake components and utilises state-of-the-art test benches to ensure the highest quality standards.

Guarantee: For complete repairs (overhauls), we guarantee fault-free operation of the brake components for 12 months. For repairs without an overhaul, the warranty only covers the machined parts or components. The guarantee is void in the event of damage caused by force or improper handling by the operator. Claims due to non-compliance with the release/braking times are excluded.

Reconditioning: As a rule, reconditioning takes place within 3 weeks of receipt of the goods. In exceptional cases, we can offer a 5-day service by arrangement (extra charge of € 156.00 per brake part). This service must be agreed in advance.

Prices: You can find the prices on the railmate website. All prices listed are valid from 01.01.2024. Earlier price lists are no longer valid. All prices are exclusive of VAT. In the case of heavily soiled, damaged or incomplete old parts, the repair will be charged according to the effort required. Transport costs are not included in the prices. We can organise the transport for you against invoice. Additional customer requests, such as repainting the brake components, can be realised after consultation with Railmate.de. The reconditioning and repair of brake components that are not included in this price list will only be carried out by prior arrangement.

Notes: If a repair does not make sense for technical or economic reasons, we will inform the customer immediately to clarify the further procedure. The costs incurred up to that point will be invoiced, irrespective of the customer's decision. If a test report is not compliant after the revision due to leaks or unfulfilled function, even though the revision work was carried out with OEM revision kits, the full reconditioning costs will be invoiced, even if the brake parts are deemed non-compliant. This may be related to the original condition of the components. Railmate.de accepts no liability for wear or malfunctions inherent in the component and will not cover the cost of any overhaul carried out on irreparable components.
